About
Abbey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College, majoring in clinical health sciences and minoring in dance performance. She earned a doctoral degree of physical therapy in 2013 from Ithaca.
Professionally, she has worked with a variety of individuals in the orthopedic setting including both clinic and on-site work with professional dance companies, Broadway tours, and a variety of athletic teams. Her specialization is performing arts medicine which is a blend of art and science. She places high emphasis on biomechanics, strength and conditioning, skilled hands on treatment and orthopedic assessment to help patients achieve maximum benefit.
Abbey enjoys activities such as biking, strength training, triathlon, yoga, and 5K racing. Other hobbies include going to performances, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Poppy.
