About
"I have always been interested in science and the movement of the body. I chose physical therapy because I value helping others achieve their functional goals and the relationships I form with patients."
Becky earned a bachelor's degree from a small college in Virginia and a doctoral degree of physical therapy from Oakland University. She has conducted research involving women who underwent breast cancer treatment and their experiences and attitudes toward physical therapy.
As a Certified Integrated Manual therapist (CIMT), Becky is credentialed through Great Lakes Seminars to use a systematic approach when evaluating and treating patients. In addition, she has taken several acclaimed continuing education courses, which have complimented her CIMT training, and allows her to fully serve a patient's needs. Becky enjoys going to concerts and sporting events, traveling, playing soccer and spending time with friends and family.
