In the past Dr. Thai would come into the exam room with a laptop. This I believe was to access information on my past procedures, conditions, etc...This provided a feeling of his being "up to date" on my chart and history. I would like to see this in the future, as I wasn't sure we were on the same page during my most recent visit.

Getting ready for carotid artery surgery with Dr. Thai has actually been a pleasant surprise. He is very patient and willing to take the time for you to ask as many questions as you want and he is very good at making sure you understand the entire process.

Our initial impression of the Dr. Thai, following our first visit, was that he was cold, impersonal, with no bedside manner. I am happy to say that impression has changed. He is professional, and personable. He took ample time to explain my FIL condition and what the next steps would be. This was not and easy task as my MIL is 92 and my husband has very little medical knowledge.
