Dr. Phillips is the medical director of supportive care in Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences. His specialty is neuro-palliative medicine and he is board certified in neurology as well as hospice and palliative medicine. When asked about his philosophy of care, Dr. Phillips said,
"To provide treatment consistent with patients wishes regarding care. Often this involves explaining different courses of action and including input from other health care providers, ultimately to individualize the care pathway to meet each patients needs."
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, fishing, and getting out to Lake Michigan is often as possible.
